Bergenia Healthcare is looking for responsible and caring Wheelchair Transport Drivers to provide safe and reliable transport for elderly and mobility-challenged clients travelling to hospitals, clinics and dialysis centres.
Key duties include:
- Safely transport clients according to assigned schedules.
- Assist with boarding, alighting and wheelchair handling.
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment safely.
- Provide basic assistance and navigation at healthcare facilities.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct basic safety checks.
- Maintain accurate trip records and report incidents or vehicle issues.
- Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers and healthcare staff.
Requirements:
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
- Valid BDVL (Bus Driver's Vocational Licence).
- Safe and responsible driving record.
- Comfortable handling wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
- Patient, responsible and service-oriented.
- Physically able to assist with wheelchair handling.
- Previous healthcare, medical transport, elderly care or passenger transport experience is an advantage.
- Training will be provided.
This is a non-clinical role. Successful candidates must complete the company's required transport, wheelchair handling and client safety training before deployment.
