As Commis Chef, you'll learn each station from the ground up alongside our Chefs de Partie, making sure every component is prepped and ready for service. We're looking for willing hands, a sharp eye for detail, and a hunger to learn.
Your Role
- Support the CDP and Sous Chef in daily prep and service
- Learn and consistently execute your station's recipes and presentation standards
- Handle mise en place: prepping produce, cleaning and cutting meat and seafood, making sauces and components
- Cook and plate dishes on your station during service
- Label, date and store food correctly, and rotate stock (FIFO) to reduce waste
- Keep your station and equipment clean, and log daily chiller and freezer temperatures
- Follow all food hygiene and safety SOPs, and other tasks as assigned
Who You Are
- Culinary graduates or up to 1 year of kitchen experience welcome
- Nitec / Higher Nitec in Culinary Skills or a Diploma in Culinary Arts is a plus
- Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge
- Disciplined, reliable, coachable and a team player
- Clear communicator in English, well-groomed and professional
- A love for Filipino food - and a curiosity for where it can go
