Air Freight Executive (Import/Export)
Description
You will be responsible for coordinating air import/export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with import/export airfreight shipments, including tracking and delivery arrangements.
- Liaise with customers, airlines, freight forwarders and other service providers on shipment matters.
- Assist with preparing Air Waybills (AWBs), invoices, Delivery Orders (D/O), permits and other shipping documents. Training will be provided.
- Update shipment details, inventory records and internal systems accurately.
- Follow up on shipment status and provide updates to customers and internal/external teams.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum N-Level or equivalent qualification with previous experience in airfreight or logistics is an advantage.
- Candidates without prior experience but with an interest in freight forwarding and logistics are welcome to apply, as training will be provided
- Comfortable handling administrative duties and shipping documentation
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to manage multiple tasks and follow up on operational matters independently
- Responsible, willing to learn and able to work effectively as part of a team
