Job Summary
- Multitask from plating to spray painting.
- Require to use full PPE in a warm environment
Responsibilities:
- Setup, operate and maintain electroplating equipment as per Job Instruction Sheet.
- Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks as per Plating Master & Manufacturing Engineering folder.
- Read and interpret Job instruction sheet required to carry out work tasks.
- Adhere to EH&S & CORE requirements in the work place, submit Hazard observations, QCPC Turnbacks and Safety Innovative Team Projects every month.
- Work in an orderly fashion keeping work areas, work table, plating table, tools, and fixtures in a tidy and clean condition after used.
- Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
- Notify the Supervisor or any machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
Job Requirements:
- Secondary to NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of plating experience.
- Knowledge of operating an oven is an added advantage.
- Physically fit & able to work within close proximity of chemical processing.
- Work experience in electroplating is preferred but not necessary.
- Basic command of written and spoken English.
- Perform rotating shifts.
- Able to tolerate high temperature work environment
