We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to oversee production planning and workflow, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower, materials and equipment while meeting production targets and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate production workflows across multiple product lines.
- Develop and prioritize production schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Plan manpower, equipment and raw material requirements based on production demand.
- Allocate manpower and resources to meet production requirements and schedules.
- Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed within the required timelines.
- Identify and resolve production issues with minimal disruption to operations.
- Monitor production output, quality results and key performance indicators.
- Prepare and submit production status and performance reports.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Work closely with Quality, Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant production planning experience.
- Proven experience in production planning and resource planning.
- Leadership and people management experience.
- Good knowledge of costing, internal audit and operational excellence practices.
- Strong analytical skills with good knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with numbers, statistics and production data.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage competing priorities.
