PROJECT TECHNICIAN
We are looking for a hands-on Project Technician to support the assembly of semiconductor components. The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow technical drawings and procedures.
The successful candidate will also support project coordination, timeline tracking and logistics, working closely with internal teams and overseas partners to ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Technical & Hands-On
Work in a cleanroom environment
Perform cleaning of equipment parts and components
Perform disassembly and assembly of parts using hand tools
Carry out calibration, functional testing and basic troubleshooting
Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions and procedures
Perform basic inspection to ensure completed work meets specifications and quality requirements
Project Coordination & Tracking
Support the planning and coordination of assigned projects
Maintain and update project progress, schedules and tracking records
Track project timelines, key activities and completion status
Coordinate parts, materials and logistics required for project execution
Follow up on material availability, delivery schedules and project requirements
Highlight potential delays, material shortages or issues that may impact the project timeline
Use computer systems and Microsoft Excel for project tracking, documentation and reporting
Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and overseas partners on technical and project matters
Requirements
GCE O-Level or equivalent with technical inclination; OR
NITEC / Higher NITEC in a technical discipline
Comfortable with hands-on technical work and using hand tools
Able to understand and follow technical drawings and procedures
Good problem-solving and coordination skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel / data entry
Able to communicate effectively in English and Ch
