Contract IT Desktop Support Technician (6 Months)
Job overview:
To support TMCC’s daily IT operations through timely desktop support, reliable technology, account and device administration, and compliance with IT policies and security standards.
A. End-User & Service Desk Support
- Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, connectivity and approved applications.
- Log, prioritise, update and resolve service requests, escalating complex or high-impact issues.
B. Hardware, Software & Endpoint Support
- Install, configure, deploy and maintain IT hardware, software and peripherals.
- Perform device health checks, troubleshooting, patch and security checks.
- Support meeting-room AV and other Club technology.
C. Account & Access Administration
- Assist with user accounts, password resets, access rights and deactivation.
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint and other authorised systems.
- Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation and recovery.
D. IT Asset Management
- Maintain accurate IT asset and software records.
- Issue, transfer, recover and verify equipment, and assist with stock checks, audits, warranties and disposal.
E. Infrastructure & Operational Support
- Provide first-level support for network connectivity, Teams Phone, CCTV, access control, POS and Club systems.
- Coordinate with senior IT staff and vendors on technical issues, repairs and maintenance.
- Report faults and recurring issues promptly.
F. Security, Documentation & Compliance
- Follow TMCC IT security and data-protection policies and report security incidents promptly.
- Maintain IT documentation and support records, and assist with backups, audits and system housekeeping.
- Perform other IT duties and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the IT Manager.
