We are looking for a committed and driven Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant and ensure an excellent guest experience. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee service quality, lead the team, and maintain smooth and efficient operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Restaurant Manager to oversee front-of-house operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service.
- Supervise, train, and motivate service staff to deliver excellent hospitality standards.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in planning and executing promotions, events, and marketing activities.
- Assist in staff scheduling, attendance, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor food quality and service standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and hygiene regulations.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams on menu planning, inventory, and supply management.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in administrative duties, including reporting and cost control.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with workplace and regulatory requirements.
- Take charge of operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the F&B industry.
- Passionate about food, service, and hospitality.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English and at least one other language is an advantage.
- Well-groomed with high standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance.
- Physically able to work on your feet for extended hours.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
