Royal Cathay is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Retail Sales Associate / Store-in-Charge for our new premium tea boutique at Changi Airport Transit Area.

This hands-on role combines sales, customer service and shift leadership, ideal for an experienced retail professional ready to progress towards store management.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve local and international customers and recommend premium teas and gifts

* Drive sales, upselling and conversion

* Conduct simple product demonstrations and tea tastings

* Handle cashiering and POS transactions

* Independently oversee the boutique during assigned shifts

* Perform store opening and closing procedures

* Coordinate staff duties and breaks

* Guide junior staff and assist with training

* Monitor stock and arrange replenishment

* Maintain merchandising and store standards

* Handle first-level customer and operational issues

* Complete daily sales, cash and handover reports

* Escalate major issues to management

Requirements

* Retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience

* Supervisory / shift-leader experience preferred

* Strong sales and customer-service mindset

* Responsible and able to work independently

* Good communication and problem-solving skills

* Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays

* Premium/luxury retail, gifting, tea or F&B experience is an advantage
