Job Summary
The Supply Chain Executive will support day-to-day purchasing, inventory and supply coordination activities. The role involves working with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely purchasing, sufficient stock availability and smooth supply operations. The role will work closely with the Procurement & Demand Planning team.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with purchasing activities and prepare/process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations and liaise with suppliers on pricing, availability, order status and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements and incoming shipments; identify potential shortages, excess inventory and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal departments on stock requirements and follow up on stock-related issues.
• Support purchasing requirements based on demand, stock levels, forecasts and supplier lead times.
• Monitor product availability and highlight potential supply constraints or shortages.
• Prepare purchasing, inventory and supply reports and maintain accurate data in relevant systems.
• Support process improvement initiatives and other ad-hoc supply chain activities.
Requirements
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain or inventory management.
• Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory management processes.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Good communication, coordination, follow-up and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• ERP, purchasing or inventory management system experience is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with willingness to learn.
