Key responsibilities
Supervise and manage a team of retail staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Ensure the store is well-organised, clean, and visually appealing with effective merchandising displays
Monitor and achieve store sales targets, analysing sales data and implementing strategies to drive revenue
Maintain stock levels, manage inventory accurately, and conduct regular stock counts
Train and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Handle cash management and process transactions with accuracy
Report on store performance and provide feedback to senior management
Coordinate with head office on promotional campaigns and new product launches
Requirements
Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a retail environment
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team
Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet performance targets consistently
Sound knowledge of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service standards
Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
Willingness to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, when required
