What You'll Do
- Own your station: Run your section from prep to the final plate, keeping it sharp, organised and ready for a busy service
- Cook with consistency: Make every dish to our recipes and presentation standards, every time
- Lead from the line: Train, guide and motivate commis and junior cooks, and set the pace and standard for your section
- Create with us: Pitch ideas for specials and seasonal dishes, and work with the Head Chef on menu development
- Keep the kitchen tight: Manage mise en place, ordering for your station, stock rotation and wastage control
- Support the team: Step up when the Sous Chef or Head Chef needs you, and help the whole kitchen run smoothly
- Hold the standard: Maintain top-level hygiene, cleanliness and safety in line with SFA requirements
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- A passion for Spanish or Mediterranean flavours. Hands-on experience is a big plus.
- Strong cooking fundamentals, knife skills and an eye for detail
- Calm, focused and reliable under pressure
- A natural team player who enjoys teaching and lifting others up
- Food Safety Course Level 1 (or Basic Food Hygiene Certificate) is required.

$2500 to $3500 (Depending on experience)
