Our client is a well-established multinational company in the Oil & Gas and Energy Technology industry, specialising in advanced engineering solutions, industrial equipment, and testing technologies.
Position: Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain industrial testing equipment and flow loop systems.
Conduct scheduled testing, measurements, and recording of test results.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
Support electrical wiring, instrumentation, mechanical assembly, and equipment installation.
Monitor and troubleshoot equipment performance, including flow meters, control valves, and related systems.
Assist with calibration activities and coordinate maintenance work with external vendors.
Support testing operations using SCADA systems and other process control equipment.
Assemble and prepare equipment and devices according to testing requirements.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.
2–5 years of relevant experience in equipment maintenance, industrial testing, instrumentation, or process operations.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, or industrial control systems.
Experience in equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and calibration activities.
Familiarity with flow meters, control valves, or industrial testing equipment will be advantageous.
Good problem-solving skills with a hands-on technical mindset.
Willingness to support shift operations and testing activities when required.
