The Area Manager oversees 8–12 outlets within an assigned district, driving sales, profitability, service excellence, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, adaptability and people management skills to ensure consistent standards, a positive working culture and achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Sales Performance: Identify business opportunities and market trends, analyse sales performance, prepare improvement plans and budgets, manage store P&L and controllable costs, monitor cash variances, stock movement and inventory, and recommend strategies to improve sales and profitability.
Service Excellence: Maintain high customer service standards, monitor customer satisfaction, handle complaints and service recovery, and ensure consistent customer experience across all outlets and order fulfilment channels.
Operations & Compliance: Oversee daily store operations, manpower deployment, scheduling, facilities, cash and inventory controls, food safety, workplace safety, sanitation and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct store audits and reviews, investigate operational issues and product defects, and coordinate product recalls where necessary.
Productivity & Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, streamline processes, implement new products and initiatives, support new store openings, and monitor execution of operational and merchandising standards.
People Management: Lead, coach and develop store supervisors and team members, monitor performance, conduct appraisals, address underperformance, suppor
