Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Chinese restaurant specialising in Taiwanese cuisine.
Candidates with relevant experience in Chinese restaurants or other restaurant operations are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, supervise and motivate service and kitchen teams.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, customer service and hygiene.
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance and manpower arrangements.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues professionally.
- Monitor inventory, stock control and minimise wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety and company SOPs.
- Assist with staff training and performance management.
Job Requirements
- Relevant experience in restaurant operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience in Chinese restaurants or other restaurant concepts is welcome.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible, service-oriented and willing to be hands-on when needed.
- Able to commit to a 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays as required.
