Central Kitchen Chef (Savoury Department)
Location: Central Kitchen (Pandan Loop)
Position Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a Chefs to join our Savoury Department at our Central Kitchen. We are seeking someone with experience in hot kitchen (savoury or sweet). Experience with quiches is an advantage but not required.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce a variety of savoury items and hot food.
- Handle dough preparation, mixing, rolling, shaping, and baking with consistency and accuracy.
- Prepare fillings, sauces, and mise en place according to production schedules and SOPs.
- Ensure all products meet comapny’s quality standards for flavour, texture, and presentation.
- Maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO), storage, and labelling of all ingredients.
- Work efficiently with the Savoury and Pastry teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Uphold food hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards.
- Assist in new product testing and seasonal menu items when required.
Requirements
- Experience in hot/cold kitchen would be highly advantageous.
- Prior experience in a central kitchen or high-volume production environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of dough handling and baking fundamentals.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of your assigned section.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
