Working Location: 2 Tampines Industrial Ave 1
Working Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift schedule 8:30am to 8:30pm and 8:30pm to 8:30am
Shift Pattern: 2-2-3:
2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on
The following week flips to 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
Repeats every 2 weeks
Work every alternate weekend
Responsibilities:
- Monitor nitrogen generator plants and BSGS operations through routine checks, logging, and inspections to ensure safe and reliable performance.
- Troubleshoot plant and system issues, perform RCA, and support corrective actions to minimise downtime.
- Ensure uninterrupted gas supply, product quality, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Manage bulk gas and BSGS inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, equipment testing, and analyzer calibration in line with SOPs.
- Plan and execute plant shutdowns, maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and start-up operations.
- Respond to unplanned plant shutdowns, including after-hours emergency call-outs when required.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and operation of new nitrogen generator plants and gas systems.
- Perform BSGS pallet and drum change-outs in line with SOP.
- Coordinate with customers and service providers to resolve BSGS operational issues.
- Maintain compliance with HSE requirements, Quality standards, Life Saving Rules, and local regulatory and IMS requirements.
- Identify workplace hazards, promote safe work practices, and respond effectively to gas leaks, spills, and emergencies.
- Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
- Participate in required training and maintain competency in plant and BSGS operations.
Requirements:
* Min. Higher NITEC in Chemical / Process Engineering
* Ability to read PFD and P&ID
* Comfortable working 12 hours shifts, 2 to 5 days/ week.
*Please note that this is a 1 year contract role, renewable/ extendable.
