Salary & Benefits:
Basic salary during probation: S$2,600/month, with accommodation and staff meals provided.
The probation period is approximately 3 months. Candidates with good performance may have their salary adjusted to S$2,800–S$3,000/month, subject to the employer’s assessment.
If overtime is required, overtime pay will be provided in accordance with Singapore employment regulations and the employment contract.
Working Hours:
Depending on the outlet’s roster, possible shifts may include:
10:00am–10:00pm or 11:00am–11:00pm.
The above time periods include meal and rest breaks. Actual normal working hours and overtime hours will be subject to the employment contract and work schedule, in accordance with Singapore employment regulations.
Rest Days:
Weekly rest day(s) will be arranged according to the outlet’s roster and employment contract.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Chinese hot dishes
- Prepare Sichuan-Hunan, Northeastern Chinese, Halal cuisine and hotpot dishes
- Prepare individual hotpot, claypot dishes and other menu items
- Carry out food preparation, cutting and general kitchen duties
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work areas
- Support daily food preparation and kitchen operations
Job Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Chinese cuisine chef
- Must have strong wok-cooking skills
- Experience in Sichuan-Hunan, Northeastern Chinese, Halal cuisine or hotpot is preferred
- Experience preparing individual hotpot and claypot dishes is preferred
- Able to work efficiently during peak dining hours
- Good and consistent cooking skills
- Responsible and able to work well as part of a kitchen team
- Able to follow work arrangements and adapt to a multi-outlet working environment
Work Location:
Multiple outlets in Singapore. Final work location will be confirmed after the interview.
