The Brand Sales Manager holds dual responsibility for brand equity and commercial performance across Singapore's modern trade channel. You will drive local brand presence while serving as the primary strategic partner to Singapore’s major supermarket networks. The ideal candidate blends strategic brand ownership with proven commercial negotiation skills to win on the supermarket shelves.
- Serve as the principal commercial contact for category managers and buyers across NTUC FairPrice, DFI Retail Group, and Sheng Siong.
- Formulate and execute annual business plans with retailers to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets.
- Lead annual contract renewals, including listing fees, rebates, margins, and promotional funding investments.
- Profitably manage the Trade Spend budget, ensuring all promotional discounts and activations yield a high ROI.
- Adapt brand guidelines into high-impact local trade strategies that drive consumer off-take.
- Pitch and secure successful listings, optimal planogram placement, and maximum visibility for new product launches.
- Lead in-store animations, point-of-sale displays (POSM), and consumer sampling roadshows.
- Track competitor pricing, shelf share, and promotional tactics to proactively adjust commercial strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to the supply chain team to minimize out-of-stock (OOS) issues and maintain inventory health.
- Oversee the merchandising team to ensure strict execution of planograms, pricing accuracy, and optimal stock rotation (FIFO).
Requirement
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales, key account, or brand management experience within FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of directly managing category buyers at major local supermarket chains
- Entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a results-oriented approach. A self-starter with strong resilience, exceptional organizational capabilities, and a results-oriented approach to driving business growth.
