- Ensure smooth & efficient daily kitchen operations, food preparations and implementation of new menu.
- Prepare / cook dishes according to cafe's standards of quality control, recipes, cooking techniques and food presentation to the guests.
- Ensure food storage, handling and hygiene are in accordance with NEA regulations and standards.
- Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and in good working conditions.
- Ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout all kitchen areas at all times.
- Maintain proper and sufficient stock of ingredients, utensils, supplies and equipment within company's guidelines for smooth running of daily operations.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues and continual improvement through guests' feedback.
- Support safe work habits and environment at all times.
- Perform any other duties as and when required by the Management.
Job Requirements
- Preferably with 2 years' relevant experience
- Minimum secondary school education with a valid WSQ food safety & hygiene certificate
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
- Able to work independently and support other team members proactively in a fast-paced environment
