Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain & rectify electrical, mechanical, engineering & plumbing systems, fire safety equipment & other auxiliary services
• Operate, set up & test audio-visual equipment & troubleshoot equipment faults for conferences, meetings & events
• Perform routine, corrective & preventive maintenance, regular testing of building equipment & facilities
• Ensure the general cleanliness & proper upkeep of all work areas & control rooms
• Analyse maintenance requests and concerns raised, raise Job Order Forms and follow up to ensure issues are rectified promptly
• Report suspicious or security-related concerns
• Comply with regulatory and organisational WSH policies & reporting procedures
• Ensure compliance with EMS standards & practices, environmental sustainability regulations & organisational requirements
• Perform CERT duties as required
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls & attend to urgent defects affecting guest comfort, safety & hotel operations
• Conduct regular inspections of building services & equipment, identify potential defects and report abnormalities for timely rectification
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment inspection checklists & service reports
• Assist in monitoring contractors & vendors carrying out maintenance, repair & servicing works to ensure compliance with safety requirements & approved work procedures
• Assist in energy & water conservation initiatives & report abnormal consumption/wastage
• Support fire safety inspections, emergency respnse exercises and other statutory inspections as assigned
• Carry out any other duties related to facilities maintenance and engineering operations as assigned
Requirements:
• NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facilities Management, Engineering or equivalent
• Min. 3 yrs of relevant experience; Hospitality Industry is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to perform independently and as a team
• 6 days a week on 3 rotating shifts
