Mechanical Engineer (Sheet Metal Design)
Location: Kallang, Singapore
Salary: SGD3,300 to SGD3,800 per month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities
• Design sheet metal parts using CAD software and prepare engineering drawings.
• Select materials based on cost and manufacturing needs.
• Support production, NPI, reverse engineering and quality checks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain BOM and design records in PLM, SAP or MES, resolving data issues.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of sheet metal bending, laser cutting, welding and material properties.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• AMADA and Lean Manufacturing knowledge is an advantage.
