Role: Nursing Aide / Healthcare Assistant
Industry: Disability Care Centre
Contract: 3-Month Renewable Contract
Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: Rotating Shifts (AM / PM), including Weekends & Public Holidays
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Daily Living Support: Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, feeding, and toilet training.
- Health & Medication: Conduct routine health checks (BP/diabetes), dispense medication, and assist with wound dressing under supervision.
- Mobility & Activities: Accompany clients to medical appointments, support physiotherapy routines, and facilitate daily recreational activities (e.g., arts & crafts).
- Resident Well-being: Supervise Health Attendants, observe/report behavioral changes, and respond promptly to emergencies.
🔑Requirements
- MUST-HAVE: Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities / special needs.
- MUST-HAVE: Direct experience in nursing aide duties & personal care.
- Experience: 1–3 years of relevant caregiving, healthcare support, or disability care experience.
- Qualifications: Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Nursing / Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
- Schedule: Able to commit to rotating shifts (AM: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | PM: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM), weekends, and public holidays.
- Attributes: Patient, responsible, hardworking, meticulous, and a strong team player.
