Kitchen Assistants required for Chinese Banquet Events:

  • Assist chefs in preparing ingredients such as washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning food items.
  • Prepare basic food items according to kitchen standards and instructions.
  • Support kitchen operations during banquets, weddings, corporate functions, and special events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment.
  • Wash and store kitchen equipment and cookware properly.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas.
  • Carry out other kitchen-related duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Valid Food Safety Certificate - Level 1
  • Safety Shoes
  • Able to converse in English/ Mandarin

1 event* = $150 (inclusive of 45mins meal break)

*Approximately 9.5hours

2 events** = $170 (inclusive of 2x45mins meal breaks) 

**Approximately 10-12 hours
