Shipping Operations Executive / Coordinator
Monthly Salary: S$2,000–S$3,200
Location: Tuas
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- 5.5-day work week
Responsibilities
- Handle import and export documents, letters of credit (LCs), bills of lading, and Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport companies, and shipping lines.
- Arrange bookings and shipments, and track cargo progress.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints.
- Follow up on document submissions, compare freight rates, and assist with basic cost analysis.
- Coordinate with overseas agents and assist in maintaining customer relationships.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in freight, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations.
- Experience handling freight documents or coordinating logistics is preferred.
- Familiarity with import and export procedures is preferred.
Benefits
- 14 days of annual leave, increasing with length of service up to 18 days.
- AWS (13th-month salary), subject to management’s discretion.
- Shuttle service between the office and the nearest MRT or bus station may be arranged.
