Working Hours
- 5 days as per rostered (including WE/PH)
- AM: 7am to 4.30pm / 9.30am to 7pm
- PM: 11am to 8.30pm / 1pm to 10.30pm
- Night: 10pm to 7.30am
Job Responsibilities
- Register patients and perform admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
- Handle inpatient and outpatient billing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collect payments through various payment modes including cash, NETS, credit cards, and digital payment platforms.
- Assist patients with insurance claims, Medisave, MediShield, and other healthcare financing enquiries.
- Provide financial counselling and explain bill estimates to patients and next-of-kin.
- Process medical report requests and coordinate with relevant departments for fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing information.
- Attend to patient enquiries and provide quality frontline customer service.
- Manage departmental email enquiries, administrative duties, inventory tracking, and reporting activities.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting officer.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Higher NITEC or Diploma in any discipline
- Prior experience in customer service, healthcare administration, admissions, registration, or billing will be advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work 5 days per week on a rostered basis, including rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
