Position : Field Support Technician (Urgent! Singaporean only)
Place : SAFTI City (Old Chua Chu Kang Road)
Basic Salary: $2600~$2900
Contract : 1 year renewable
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site technical, maintenance and training support for installed training systems and equipment.
• Ensures that equipment is serviceable, safely deployed and ready for scheduled training activities.
• Perform operator-level preventive and basic corrective maintenance on fixed and pan-tilt-zoom cameras, Universal Controllers, UC Lite units, UC cameras, targetry systems, the Battlefield Effect System and Building Instrumentation System.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance in accordance with approved checklists and report defects requiring higher-level technical support.
• Carry out battery charging, condition checks and equipment-readiness activities.
• Obtain written statements from users when equipment discrepancies, damage or loss are identified.
• Move equipment to/from the warehouse from/to site/s when required.
• Support annual stocktaking and maintain accurate accountability of assigned equipment.
• Cross-train and provide operational support at other sites when required.
• Comply with site safety, security and operating procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
• Higher NITEC or Diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, information technology or a related technical discipline.
• Fresh Graduates you are welcome to apply!
• Relevant experience in field support, equipment maintenance, system operations or training support is preferred.
• Basic troubleshooting capability for electronic, networked or electromechanical equipment.
• Able to read maintenance checklists, follow technical instructions and prepare clear service or operational reports.
• Good communication, teamwork and customer-service skills.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently in an operational environment.
