Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee front-of-house operations before opening, during service, and at closing to keep things running smoothly
· Check that facilities, equipment, tableware, and hardware are in good working order; arrange repairs and notify the manager promptly
· Maintain front-of-house hygiene and cleanliness standards
· Lead the team to meet, greet, guide, and serve customers with proper grooming, service language, and a smile
· Oversee table cleaning, clearing, and setup to improve turnover and service speed
· Keep the drinks and condiments station clean and stocked
· Monitor daily supplies and stock; run monthly stock counts
· Manage reservations and seating arrangements
· Lead upselling efforts to help meet sales targets
· Walk the floor to monitor the dining experience and ensure quick response to customer needs
· Handle customer issues and complaints; escalate to the manager when beyond your authority
· Attend required meetings and training; coach and guide front-of-house staff
· Ensure the team cares for and correctly uses equipment and furniture
· Coordinate front-of-house teamwork, assign duties fairly, and improve efficiency and cohesion
· Perform other related duties assigned by your supervisor
Job Requirements:
· Minimum primary/secondary education
· Basic Mandarin speaking ability
· Experience in F&B front-of-house service or supervision is a plus; must be willing to learn and take on management duties
· Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and POS systems is a plus
· Good communication, adaptability, and floor coordination skills
· A strong sense of responsibility, service mindset, and team management awareness
· Malaysian Chinese are welcome to apply
