Jobscope:
- Plan, manage, and track import/export trucking shipments using the designated software system.
- Receive and process order and shipment bookings from relevant sites.
- Assign shipments and tasks to the appropriate truckers based on availability and zones.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, cargo handlers, and other logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Ensure all customer requirements are clearly communicated to truckers to ensure full compliance and satisfaction.
- Provide prompt and proactive support to customers, keeping them informed on the status of their shipments.
- Oversee and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods.
- Foster a positive working environment by supporting staff welfare and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Delegate tasks effectively, leveraging staff strengths to optimize team performance.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers to ensure smooth business transactions and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with any additional tasks or duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or Head of Department (HOD).
Job Requirements:
- Experience in warehousing/logistics and supervisory role.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
- Comfortable working in Tuas (nearest MRT Gul Circle) for a 5.5-days workweek.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment.
- Self motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be comfortable using computers and basic technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Having a valid Singapore class 3/class 4 driving license and/or forklift license will be advantageous.
