Key Responsibilities
- Man the guardhouse; control access of personnel, visitors, vehicles and deliveries.
- Conduct regular patrols of premises, workshop, yard and dormitory areas.
- Operate and monitor CCTV and alarm systems; respond to irregularities.
- Register visitors/contractors; verify identity and issue passes.
- Inspect vehicles and goods to prevent unauthorised removal of property.
- Enforce dormitory rules and monitor resident headcount.
- Record all incidents and shift activities in the occurrence book.
- Respond to emergencies and assist evacuation per company procedures.
- Liaise with Police, SCDF and management during incidents or inspections.
Requirements
- Valid PLRD Security Officer licence (mandatory).
- Completed required WSQ security modules for the grade.
- Physically fit; able to patrol/stand across a 12-hour shift.
- Willing to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, 6 days/week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Alert, disciplined and vigilant.
- Basic spoken English; able to communicate with a multi-national workforce.
- Prior security or uniformed-service experience preferred.
- Singapore Citizen only
