Position Purpose / Context
Support the Delivery Driver in ensuring products are delivered safely and on time to customers' designated locations. Assist with product handling, delivery operations, and payment collection where required.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Assist the Delivery Driver with timely and safe product deliveries.
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles.
- Support add-on deliveries as assigned.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Coordinate with Distribution Operations and Sales teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Ensure delivery vehicles are clean and properly maintained.
- Prevent delivery delays or product damage.
- Maintain good relationships with customers.
- Assist drivers in locating delivery destinations.
- Support unloading activities at the end of each shift.
- Obtain customer signatures upon delivery acceptance.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 5-day work week (Monday–Friday).
- Reporting location: Tuas, 6:30 AM.
- Adhere to delivery routes, schedules, safety procedures, and traffic regulations.
- Familiar with local roads and routing alternatives.
- Energetic, resourceful, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level qualification in any field.
