GREYBOX COFFEE is a leading specialty coffee brand focused on Singapore, dedicated to bringing the highest quality coffee experience from around the world to this city. We believe that every cup of coffee should represent excellence and passion, which is the standard we strive for. Our specialty coffee menu includes single origin pour-overs from Ethiopia, Jamaica and Colombia, as well as a premium Geisha blend from Panama.
Your operational responsibilities include:
- Prepare various types of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to recipes and tailor to customer preferences, such as adjusting sweetness levels, milk alternatives, and flavourings
- Provide friendly, efficient and personalised service to customers
- Operate and maintain cleanliness and functionality of coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other tools
- Uphold high standards of quality in every aspect of coffee preparation, including coffee bean selection, grinding, tamping, and extraction
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene set by the government and regulators
- Recommend and upsell of additional menu items, such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise
- Stay informed about coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and specialty coffee varieties
Requirements:
- Applicants with past experience in coffee making with local café brands will be prioritised
- Experience in latte art and pour-over techniques preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multiple task
- Attention to detail and a passion in coffee
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays
