Job Summary
Join as a Design Engineer to create innovative machinery designs using AutoCAD, collaborating with teams to ensure manufacturability, safety, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for fabrication and assembly to support production accuracy
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine designs for manufacturability and efficiency
- Participate in concept development, layout planning, and continuous design improvement for new products
- Ensure all drawings comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements
- Prepare and maintain documentation, bills of materials (BOM), and revision control to support project tracking and quality
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or equivalent
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with familiarity preferred in SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills applied to design challenges
- Hands-on knowledge of fabrication and assembly processes considered an advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple design projects simultaneously
