Accompanies the patient during intra-hospital and inter-hospital transfers when the need arises.
Assist in the transfer of specimens, documents and other material as assigned by the department staff.
Assist in case-notes management for clinic operations.
Assist in the proper storage of CSSD, linen and other supplies as directed.
Assist in preparation, collection, sorting and storage of ward linen.
Assist in collection, segregation and disposal of soiled linen.
Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness of wards, offices and waiting areas.
Assist in transporting equipment / furniture to appropriate department for repair and maintenance.
Assist in preparing and serving diets and beverages to patients.
Perform bed discharge and terminal cleaning procedures when the need arises.
Maintain cleanliness of patient pantry and ensure sufficient kitchen rations.
Comply with hospital infection control guidelines.
Adheres to hospital policies and procedures according to IQEHS requirements.
Demonstrate proper and economical usage of the consumables and supplies.
Other adhoc duties as assigned
