Job Description:

Accounting & Compliance

Supervise the accounting operations of a group of companies, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger

Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Manage quarterly GST filing and annual income tax filling

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.

Implement and maintain strong internal controls

Cost Control & Margin Management

Review expenditure and inventory management.

Analyse contribution margins by product

Cash Flow Management

Review collection procedures across outlets.

Monitor cash flow and liquidity requirements.

Leadership

Lead and develop the finance team

Drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of best practices

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Professional Certification: CA Singapore (ISCA), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification highly preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of full-spectrum accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Hands-on experience working in a Singapore SME environment or mid-tier audit firm is strongly preferred.

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS / SFRS for Small Entities), ACRA filing procedures, and IRAS tax rules (GST, Corporate Tax).Proficiency in cloud SME accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, AutoCount, MYOB) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic financial modeling).
Strong commercial acumen and communication skills to translate numerical data into insights for business owners and non-finance heads. High level of integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
