Cleaning Supervisor
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff across assigned areas.
- Inspect work performed to ensure compliance with established cleanliness standards.
- Schedule staff shifts, delegate tasks, and ensure adequate coverage.
- Provide training to new cleaning staff on equipment use, safety protocols, and cleaning procedures.
- Monitor inventory and request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
- Address and resolve staff and client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, attendance, incidents, and supply usage.
- Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports on cleaning performance and issues.
- Assist in hands-on cleaning tasks when required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a cleaning role, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory position.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties when necessary.
- Basic computer skills (for reports, emails, scheduling, etc.) preferred.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certification in Health & Safety or related field is a plus.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or school cleaning environments.
