📢 We're Hiring – Part-Time Environmental Services Officer
Looking for a part-time role with a consistent weekday schedule? Join our team and support essential environmental maintenance work across the North-East area of Singapore!
🌟 Job Highlights
💰 $10.50/hour
📅 3–4 days per week, Monday to Friday
🕢 7.30am – 5.00pm
🏠 1 area per day – no need to travel across multiple areas in a single day
🚫 No weekend or Public Holiday work
📚 Paid on-the-job training provided
📍 Working Areas
You will be assigned to one area per day within:
- Simei
- Serangoon
- Bedok
🔧 What You'll Do
- Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of Gravitraps (mosquito monitoring traps) around residential areas
- Remove unwanted insects and debris from the traps to ensure they function properly
- Collect mosquito samples and place them in designated sample bags
- Deliver collected samples to the designated drop-off point within your assigned area
- Report damaged or faulty Gravitraps for follow-up
- Walk between assigned locations and access Gravitraps around HDB estates
✅ What We're Looking For
- Able to commit at least 3 months
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking between different locations
- Physically comfortable with frequent walking and using staircases to access assigned areas
- Comfortable handling and removing insects found within the Gravitraps
- Responsible, observant and able to follow work procedures
- No prior experience required – training will be provided
