Responsibilities:
- Preventive maintenance and corrective repair works on packaging equipment, conveying systems, electrical systems and automation systems among various stakeholders
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, PLC, HMI, and automation-related issues to minimize operational downtime.
- Support engineering projects from conceptualization through implementation and commissioning.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures, operational disruptions, and technical incidents.
- Technical improvement initiatives.
- Participate in site visits, audits, and project discussions to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPI reports, and management reporting tools using platforms.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations, company safety policies, and operational procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures before maintenance, project, or engineering activities.
- Monitor maintenance consumables, spare parts inventory, and equipment requirements.
- Assist in preparing technical specifications, obtaining quotations, and evaluating vendor proposals.
- Support cost control initiatives and maintenance resources.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent discipline
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, automation, manufacturing, or process plant environments.
- Hands-on experience with PLC and industrial automation systems is preferred.
- Experience managing maintenance contractors and project activities.
