The service required are set out as follows:

• Provide technical and laboratory support for engineering
diploma programmes, practical sessions, assessments and student projects.
Prepare, set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot
laboratory equipment, engineering systems, software and practical kits.
• Support areas such as Aerospace, Automation, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Biomedical, Microelectronics, Marine/Offshore and Network Systems, depending on assigned discipline.
• Assist lecturers and students with equipment operation, experiments, programming, testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, basic repairs and equipment fault diagnosis, and coordinate with
external vendors when required.
• Manage laboratory inventory, procurement, equipment servicing, stocktaking and documentation.
Install and maintain operating systems, application software and specialised engineering software on laboratory computers.
• Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, housekeeping, risk management and proper equipment handling.
• Maintain records for equipment utilisation, maintenance, calibration, repairs, inventory and software updates.
• Support the smooth and safe operation of laboratories and ensure all equipment is ready and functional for practical classes.


Requirements
Technical officer(SOE)
Diploma/Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field.
 Class 3 licence are added advantages
