Position: Part-Time Kitchen Staff
📍 Location: Tai Seng
🗓️ Working Days: 5 days per week
⏰ Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
💰 From $12 to $16 (Additional $2 Per Hour For Work Week Beyond 30 hours)
Processing Line & Hot Kitchen Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop and weigh raw ingredients like vegetables, meat and fish along a structured processing line.
- Bulk Cooking: Cook, fry or simmer menu items in large batches following strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) and recipes.
- Quality & Temperature Control: Monitor cooking times, check food quality, ensure proper cooling and storage temperatures.
- Plating & Packaging: Portion, pack and label finished food products for distribution to outlets.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain clean workstations, adhere to hygiene rules and follow local food safety standards like HACCP or SFA guidelines
Requirements:
- No experience required – training provided
- Able to lift, carry and move large industrial pots, raw ingredients and bulk food containers weighing between 10kg to 25kg.
- Able to do repetitive work like cutting, packing and loading trays
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team player with good hygiene practices
