We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Washer / Cleaner to join our central bakery kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining top-tier cleanliness and hygiene standards across our high-volume production facility. You will primarily operate industrial-use dishwasher machines to clean specialized baking equipment, ensuring our pastry chefs and bakers always have sanitized tools ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation: Load, operate, and unload industrial rack washers or tunnel dishwashers built for heavy bakery use.
Bakery Ware Washing: Remove tough residues (like burnt sugar, flour paste, and fats) from baking sheets, cake tins, mixing bowls, and silicone moulds.
Pre-Scrubbing: Scrape heavily soiled baking pans and industrial mixer attachments before machine cycle loading.
Chemical Management: Monitor, refill, and safely handle industrial cleaning chemicals, detergents, and sanitizing agents.
Storage & Organization: Organize and restock clean baking trays, trolley racks, and utensils back into designated production zones.
Facility Sanitation: Deep-clean the central kitchen floor, sweep flour residue, mop wet spills, and sanitize shared food-contact surfaces.
Waste Disposal: Empty and clean industrial waste bins, separating food waste and recycling according to kitchen policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience as a dishwasher or cleaner in a central kitchen, commercial bakery, or large food manufacturing facility.
Technical Skill: Confident operating commercial-grade, high-temperature industrial washing machinery.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, work in hot environments near baking ovens, and lift heavy mixing bowls or tray racks.
Hygiene Knowledge: Familiarity with basic food safety, hygiene regulations, and handling chemicals safely.
Work Style: High efficiency, excellent time-management skills, and a strong eye for detail to spot unwashed grease or dough residue.
