JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Safely and accurately deliver merchandise on schedule, ensuring proper loading, handling, verification, and collection of customer signatures/payments where required.
- Pick up and deliver documents, parcels, and packages according to assigned routes, schedules, and documentation requirements.
- Provide professional and courteous service while ensuring timely, accurate, and damage-free deliveries and proper handling of returns.
- Operate the assigned vehicle safely and efficiently, maintain cleanliness, and ensure timely servicing and inspections.
- Assist with warehouse operations and perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class 4 driving licence is mandatory, with a good driving record and strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in merchandise delivery to local supermarket chains such as NTUC, Cold Storage, or Sheng Siong.
- Physically fit and able to perform loading and unloading of merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Minimum secondary education, with a credit in English preferred.
- Responsible, punctual, and customer-oriented, with a positive work attitude and strong commitment to service and safety.
