Responsibilities

  • Cook Muslim food in a central kitchen for Malay weddings and large-scale catering events.
  • Handle large-volume food preparation and quantity planning based on previous catering experience.
  • Cook halal-certified Chinese food dishes when required.
  • Travel on-site to cook live stations for events approximately 2 to 3 times a year.
  • Work collaboratively with another cook and 4–5 kitchen assistants during large events (e.g., 1,000+ pax).

Requirements

  • Must have prior working experience in a catering environment due to large-quantity planning.
  • At least 1 year of hotel/catering cooking experience preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to the kitchen's specific cooking style and volume demands.
