Permanent Part‑Time Kitchen Assistant – Glow Food (100% Vegan Concept)

Location: 10 Coleman Street, Grand Park City Hall Employment Type: Permanent Part‑Time

Responsibilities

  • Food preparation and cooking support.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas.
  • Assisting chefs during service.
  • Maintaining hygiene standards and food safety compliance.

 Work Schedule

  • Hours: Fixed weekly shifts, 30 hours.
  • Shifts: 10:00–15:00 or 16:00–21:00 (Weekdays & Weekends).
  • Coverage during peak lunch/dinner hours.
  • Duties rotated: prep, service support, cleaning.
  • Overlap with full‑time staff for smooth handover.

Requirements

  • Basic kitchen skills.
  • Weekend availability is a must.
  • Food hygiene certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

SOP Role

  • Daily Tasks: Stock check, utensil prep, assist cooking stations.
  • Closing Tasks: Wash equipment, sanitize work areas, log leftovers.
  • Accountability: Reports directly to Supervisor.
