Financial Modeling & Valuation
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions) to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to assess the financial health and historical performance of target companies.
- Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses to stress-test investment assumptions.
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct macroeconomic, industry, and sector research to identify emerging market trends and investment themes.
- Monitor and track existing portfolio companies, drafting regular performance updates and risk assessments.
- Gather data from financial terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet) and compile it into structured internal databases.
Deal Execution & Reporting
- Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, collaborating with legal, tax, and operational teams.
- Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and presentations for the Investment Committee.
- Participate in earnings calls, management meetings, and industry conferences, taking detailed notes for the team.
