Restaurant Manager / Barista – Multi-Vertical Operations

Salary: $1,600–$2,300 per month, depending on experience
About the Role
AMGD Global is looking for a capable, responsible and hands-on Restaurant Manager / Barista to oversee daily restaurant operations and support our other food-service verticals, including catering, events, vending machines, deliveries and operational errands.
The candidate must be adaptable, resourceful and willing to learn. As an inclusive employer, AMGD works with team members of different abilities. Patience, respect and supportive leadership are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily opening, service and closing operations
- Lead, train and support front-of-house team members
- Prepare coffee, beverages and other menu items when required
- Prepare staff rosters, conduct briefings and assign duties
- Handle reservations, customer enquiries, feedback and service recovery
- Operate the POS system and manage payments and daily closing
- Monitor stock, coordinate orders and maintain operational records
- Support catering, events, vending-machine replenishment, deliveries, collections and runner duties
- Travel between AMGD locations when operationally required
- Support team members with disabilities patiently and appropriately
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and halal requirements
Requirements
- Confident spoken and written English
- Relevant F&B experience
- Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
- Barista experience or willingness to undergo training
- Comfortable using POS systems, email, WhatsApp
- Responsible, organised and able to solve problems independently
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Valid food hygiene or Food Safety Course certification is required
- Driving licence is an advantage
