A boutique multi-discipline fitness studio in the CBD is looking for friendly and responsible Part-Time Front of House to join our team.
This is a flexible part-time position suitable for students, those with other commitments, or anyone looking for part-time work in a fun and energetic fitness environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in members for classes
- Assist first-time customers with studio facilities and class procedures
- Assist with general customer enquiries
- Help members with class bookings, packages and account enquiries
- Handle walk-in customers and basic sales enquiries
- Process payments and front desk transactions
- Maintain a clean, organised and presentable reception/lounge area
- Coordinate with instructors for daily classes
- Monitor class attendance and assist with booking-related matters
- Assist with opening and/or closing of the studio
- Support the team with general day-to-day studio operations
- Assist with studio events and promotions when required
Who We're Looking For
- Friendly, approachable and comfortable interacting with people
- Responsible, punctual and reliable
- Good communication skills
- Customer-service oriented
- Comfortable using computers, tablets and booking/POS systems
- Able to work independently after training
- Interest in fitness and wellness is a plus
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality or fitness experience is a plus, but not required
Working Arrangement
- Part-time, paid hourly
- Flexible scheduling based on availability
- Morning, evening and weekend shifts available
- Shifts scheduled in advance
- Minimum commitment 4 months
