Job Summary:
The Office Watchman is responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the company's premises, personnel, and assets. The role includes monitoring access to the premises, conducting routine patrols, reporting any unusual activities, and ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
Job Description:
- Guard and monitor the company premises during assigned shifts.
- Handle all incoming mails.
- Register visitors, check visitors’ contact declaration form before directing visitors to the appropriate holding area.
- Inform staff of visitors’ arrival.
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of Company’s premises.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor visitors’ logbook).
- Play announcement via Public Address (PA) system.
- To be the first responder to call DECAM service provider when the fire alarm panel ring
- In charge of facilities matters (e.g routine maintenance servicing, arranging facilities repair etc).
- Escort visitors as and when needed.
- Support housekeeping by reporting cleanliness or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
