Culina is a leading purveyor of specialist Epicurean foods and wines, a choice distributor to hotels, restaurants and cafes in Singapore. Culina runs a Bistro and Gourmet boutique, an Organic retail store SuperNature in Dempsey as well as a chain of butcheries in major supermarkets island wide.
Job Summary:
The Sales Merchandiser is responsible for recommending/taking sales orders, replenishing stocks in retail outlets, distributing listed products, and executing sales and marketing programs to achieve monthly sales and category targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily visit to the Supermarket/Minimart outlet in an assigned area, provide excellent service, and enhance good customer relationships/rapport to secure orders for all products.
- Ensure all agency products, especially core SKUs, are well merchandised with adequate levels of stocks at the home bay according to market share or follow the planogram and all chillers and secondary displays.
- Liaise and coordinate with external and internal staff on ordering of products.
- Ensure prompt setup of promo display, update of all POS materials, and placement of the pricing display at the right place and in the promo window.
- Monitor sales and implement FIFO to ensure product freshness, and check on near-expired stocks regularly to minimize trade returns.
- Provide regular feedback on the sales performance of our product, store and display issues, and competitors’ activities to Sales Rep.
- Support Management Team in conducting distribution audits and ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Assists in promotion/event setups (if any).
- Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all store-level customers.
Requirements:
- At least 'O' or 'N' level certification
- At least 1 year of working experience in F&B industry
- Preferably candidates specializing in Merchandising, Sales or equivalent
- Able to work on alternate Saturdays (5.25 days)
