Job Responsibilities
- Operate company 10ft, 14ft and 24ft trucks for local moving and delivery assignments.
- Transport household items, furniture, equipment and other goods safely to customers' locations.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the assigned vehicle is in good working condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading of furniture, household goods and equipment when required.
- Work together with movers and operations crew to ensure items are handled and transported safely.
- Follow assigned delivery and moving schedules and ensure timely arrival at job sites.
- Ensure goods are properly secured before transportation.
- Handle items carefully to minimise damage during loading, transportation and unloading.
- Communicate with the operations team regarding delivery schedules, site conditions or any issues encountered.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays or operational issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Support the moving team with other operational duties when required.
Job Requirements
- Valid Singapore Class 4 Driving Licence is required.
- Prior experience as a Class 4 Driver / Lorry Driver / Truck Driver / Delivery Driver will be an advantage.
- Experience in moving, logistics, transportation or delivery operations is preferred.
- Comfortable driving larger commercial vehicles around Singapore.
- Physically fit and comfortable assisting with loading and unloading.
- Responsible, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good working attitude and customer service mindset.
